The short version
Your tax figures never leave your device. We do not receive them, we cannot see them, and there is no server that could store them even by mistake.
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind in this application.
What is stored, and where
When you enter a TRN, a tax period, or a ledger, that information is written to your browser's local storage on the device you are using. It stays there until you delete it.
What is stored: text and numbers only — dates, amounts, VAT treatments, emirates, your TRN, an optional business name, and a record that you accepted the disclaimer.
What is never stored: invoice images, PDFs, bank statements, or any other document. The application has no field capable of holding a file and no way to upload one.
Nothing is backed up. If you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, or lose the device, the figures are gone. That is the trade-off of not holding your data: we cannot lose it, and we also cannot recover it for you.
Deleting everything
Every screen where you enter figures has a "Delete everything" button. It removes all stored data from the device immediately and permanently.
You can also clear the site's data through your browser or Android app settings, which has the same effect.
You do not need to contact us to delete your data, because we do not hold any.
What we do receive
Loading the application means your device requests files from our hosting provider. Like any web server, it records standard request information such as your IP address, the time, and which file was requested. We use this only to keep the service running and to see whether it is up.
We do not connect that information to your tax figures, because we do not have your tax figures.
If you choose to email us, we will have whatever you put in the email. Please do not email us your tax figures — we do not need them and would rather not hold them.
The Federal Tax Authority
This application does not connect to EmaraTax. It does not log in on your behalf, does not submit anything, and never asks for your portal credentials.
It produces figures that you type into EmaraTax yourself, signed in as yourself.
If anything ever asks you for your EmaraTax password while claiming to be this application, it is not us.
Children
This is a tool for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone — which, given that we collect nothing at all, covers them too.
Changes
This policy is versioned (2026-09-a) and lives in the application's source code alongside the behaviour it describes. If the behaviour changes, this changes with it.
If we ever start collecting anything, this page will say so before it happens, and we will ask you again.
